Is there an easy way to achieve the topic? Seems that the thermo must be underneath the exhaust manifold just above the alternator. Is this correct? Its almost impossible to reach. Whats the best manner to replace it yourself? Do you need to take the exhaust manifold off?
I own a new 2009 Sirion 1.3 and I put new alloy wheels 6.5x15 with 185-55/15 tyres on it(It had the stock steel wheels with 175-65/14 tyres). The problem I'm facing is that since I put the new wheels and tires on it the power steering in parking manuevers stucks momentarily like loosing power assist. It does that only when it is not moving and sometimes not always. The service man in Daihatsu dealership told me that the problem is the wider tyres.Sirions with alloy wheels fitted from the factory the have different rack and pinion steering.Does anybody knows anything about it?Any help welcome.T
Hi all. I am new to Sportrak ownership and so far not having a huge amount of luck. So far I've had new clutch, new engine and new timing belt all in the first month of ownership.. I took it on its first run yesterday and when I hit around 65mph or 3750rpm the engine light would intermitantly come on and off cutting power. I noticed that if i drive in 2nd gear upto the same revs it happens but only when in 2nd or at motorway speeds.
Hi all,
I have a sportrak thats lifted and and monster tyres. however at night when my headlights are switched on they seem really bright and everyone infront of my thinks I have my main beams on and say they are dazzling them. Is this because it is lifted, if so is there any way I can adjust the beam????
Hi all! I'm in the process of trying to remove the fuel tank and lines so that I can replace the inner arch on the drivers side rear end. Having some major problems, mostly snapped bolts! Any tips on getting to and removing the lot? Im on an extremely tight budget and cant afford to buy the various bolt removal tools so am having to do it the old fashioned way. However, I can hardly get to the fuel pump to remove it! Any ideas? Also does anyone know the size of the pipes and unions I will need to replace?
