Can anybody please let me know where I can get a Tailgate strut drivers side for A Charade 1995 at a reasonable cost.I have been quoted silly prices from a few parts dealers.
Just bought a 1985 Charade Turbo with cabrio roof. Find Another! Its not mint and needs a bit of TLC, but shes road legal. Anyway the temperature gauge doesnt move and I'm guessing its the thermostat. Where can I source the parts for this car? Anywhere good in kent area?

I have bought a YRV here in Cyprus and one of my brake lights(bulb) needs changing,I hav`nt got a manual yet although one is on order but I need to get this bulb changed,I can see no obvious way of getting access to the bulb in question,can anybody out there advise me how to get into the rear lights,is it that obvious that I`m missing something simple

I recently contacted Daihatsu UK about the "pinking noise" on the K3-VET engine.
As expected they deny any knowledge of the problem, saying there had been only two Technical problems back in 2002.
The first was a rattle from an air hose and a screech from wrongly tensioned serpentine belt.
YRV been with a local garage for almost 2 weeks.
Originally advised that it was a heat sensor. Now advised that it could be no 1 fuel injector or the
Engine is nearing its end.
My Daughter has an 03 Sirion 1.3 she's had from new. There have been a couple of occasions when it refuses to start. The last time was when she needed to move up to get space for another car i.e. she just started the engine moved a couple of yards and switched off.
HELP! I've just fitted a second hand engine to my wife's 1.3 YRV 4 Trak and now it won't start. It starts for a second or two just as the starter is engaged but it just won't continue to run. Any ideas chaps?
Squeeling steering pump due to lost mounting bolt..It's the one on the left looking from the front bottom. I've tried a few spares but difficult to find the correct length, too long might damage engine block? This Forum has been so helpful - could someone please provide the correct bolt spec.?
