Hijet manual

Hi there,

I am a new member and would like to start by thanking everyone who write to forums like these, you have saved me time and money on many an occasion.

I have a Hijet MPV 1.3 EFi 2000(w reg), and it is looking like the rings have seen better days.

After trawling around garages and breakers yards, i have finally given up and have decided to do it myself...

Engine change on YRV 4 trak

Wifey's 2003 YRV 4 trak died last week Sad , seems to be something serious as there's zilch compression on number 3 cylinder and being a coward I've decided to swap the engine. What's the best way of removing the engine? upwards minus gearbox? I've got a complete engine from an 04 can anyone think of any potential snags?

I am a big Daihatsu and k-car fan living in Geermany. I do have a problem with my Daihatsu Storia X4. I need following information, data, which I can not find!

Does anyone know where the engine number is situated? I can not find it on mine!

Does Daihatsu Sirion "98 has the same BACK ENGINE MOUNT like Toyota Aygo or not ?

I know, that Toyota AYGO,Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 have engines from Daihatsu Sirion 1.0 only modern.

Maybe i could put the ENGINE MOUNT from Toyota AYGO into Daihatsu Sirion Unknw

Gran Move

I have a 1998 Gran Move manual. When travelling at a higher constant speed e.g dual carriageway say 60 to 70 mph it sudenly and randomly dies with no power at all for a few seconds but then will pick up again and run perfectly for the rest of the journey.

However, it seems to happen more often at night with lights wipers and heater on but this may be a co-incidence, and totally unrelated.

conversion into camper

into camper but to save abit of work and maybe some money i was
looking around for the interior out of a camper were the engine was
nackerd but trying to find 1 is a different matter if i cant find 1 I give it a go anyway but were do u start any comments would be most welcome

Engine management light on dash on and i am told that this is the lamba sensor in the exhaust and that it is a main agent part only and that they will have to fit a resistor as well!!!

Now it just so happens that i have a gadget called a Scan Gauge
