Can anyone else who has one of these please let me know if they have found a good parts supplier???
I've spent the last week looking for a set of HT leads for it but no-one knows what i'm going on about!1 To clarify it's the JB-JL 4 cylinder, 16 valve engine, it only has 2 leads and even Daihatsu dealers have been trying to sell me 3 leads!!!!!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!!

I`M NEW I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM CAN`T FIND SPARES FOR MY DAIHASTU MOVE 1997, 847CC ENGINE . I NEED THROTTLE BODY. DO ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND ONE. I`VE BEEN ASKING ALOT OF SELLERS BUT SEEMS THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND. IF ANYONE HAVE MORE INFO PLEASE TELL ME.

I change the joints of the up of the engine and now is not start........(sorry for my English but i'm greec for Lesbos Island in greece) Its a small Island without Daihatsu Garage)
I am looking for the workshop of that car.
I see they sale some on this site but not that one.

I have a YRV 4trak and this evening i noticed a squealing noise from the engine. It runs as normal but i just wanted to check this is likely the fan belt?
Does that sound about right? It is an '03 model with about 28k on the clock.
Hi, I'm new to this forum, and am struggling to find much info about my '98 Move Plus auto (my wife's car, actually). Thought it might be helpful to others to let you know how I cured its erratic tickover - it had an occasional tendency to stall, now fixed by cleaning the throttle body with carburettor/fuel injection cleaner and wiping it out with a rag. Took 10 minutes!
Help Help i have just changed my trusted shogun for a 91 tdx fourtrak after a long time of hearing great things about them however i seem to be missing 5th gear lost it somewere and cant find it while driving if you switch into 5th it appears to go in and the stick stays in roughly the right place but the is nothing there when i let the clutch outthere no grinding no noise just no gear
I have changed my engine in a project tuktuk, its a 3 wheel vehicle in thailand.
Id like to know what model this engine is, if anyone can identify it? I was talking to a friend and he said maybe its not an 850cc but a 1100cc from a Charade?
The engine has a 5 speed trans, and redlines at 6000+RPM
