can anyone help me with a problem in my grand move (r-reg)
a few weeks back it started racing and after about five mins instead of idling it would rev n dip n rev n dip contantly for about another five mins, i put it down to cold morning starts an maybe the auto choke sticking.
now ive had time to look and listen more closly its not the choke?
Can any1 help me out?The problem i've got is my central-locking isn't working anymore :(.To cut a long story short it was in storage for 6mnths,consequently the battery went flat,so after recharge the cl ain't working no more,(but it was before).This happened once before when i 1st got the motor,but can't remember what i did to get it working again,what can i say i'm old & slept alot in 6mnths ;).Just to let you know it's a Sporty ELXI limtied 1600.I would be most grateful for any help/suggestions thx in advance
Can anyone help me my engine fuse keeps blowing after turning ignition on after about 5 seconds .The glowplug warning light comes on and vehicle will start if you catch it before the fuse blows but when you turn it off it just turns over,also has a major current draw if left for a couple of days battery will be flat {new battery} anyone got any ideas the main engine relay clicks in with ign on and relay next to it also clicks in but obviously both click off when fuse blows there is no obvious dodgy wiring etc i,m drawn to a glowplug problem for some reason any ideas please help !
I had this part replaced under warranty for 5 times! Still after several thousand kilos on it, the vibration comes back. apparently the disc brake warped. any of u guys replaced it with disc from another car or any of a reliable aftermarket disc brake?

i wonder if u guys could help me out here. this evening i was on my way home from work. i was pulling out of a road into the roundabout. as i was accelerating, i saw the brake warning light turned on for about 2-3 seconds before going off.
my handbrake lever was down, brake fluids are full and brake pads are still thick. i wonder what caused it?
My water pump is squeeling and peeing water out. I cant see a way of changing this without taking the engine out! Surely theres an easier way? I cannot find a maual for this car for love nor money - they ARENT out there! Haynes dont even do one so I havent a clue and my car is sitting there wasting tax and MOT and I cant drive it
I have a 1994 Charade 1.3iEFI. When you start the car and leave it to run for 20-30mins it does not boil or overheat,when you take it for a short drive for 5-10 miles,the water in the radiator starts to boil into the expansion tank,the cap comes off the expansion tank,then you start to lose water through it ,when the car cools down,the water drains back to the radiator,less the water that has boiled out of the expansion tank. some times when you start the car it revs -erratically.
