On my fourtrak bolted to the inner wing (drivers side) behind the battery is a cylinder it is rubber mounted and has 2 quite heavy wires coming out of it, what is it and could it cause a starting fault?
Just an observation that my 2.8 TD timing belt tensioner does not have a 3/8" square hole, as the tech manual says, to put the torque wrench in but a 5/16" hex.
hi im new to 4x4 and wondering as i go from lane to lane via roads should i get out and unlock the front hubs or is it ok to just take out of 4 wheel drive and also any budget tyres out the that are ok for off road
Right, this is of interest mainly to Fourtrak and Sportrak users. The "How it Works" section, the content is expanding, covering many issues. Are members aware of whats available in the "How it Works" section at the top of the page.
As the title says I was wondering whether there's still any good ones about as I've been after a Fourtrak Fieldman for about 4 months and have only seen one which I'd have considered buying (it was absolutely mint but had already been sold when I rang up Still kicking myself !)
