I was looking for alloy wheels for my Fourtrak on Ebay and came across these. I think they are ugly, but one of you might not. Apparently they come with all the nuts and don't have a reserve.
We are a new Team based near Portsmouth UK, that are entering the Mongol Rally 2010. This basically entails driving from Goodwood Racecourse to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar in July of this year (2010).

Re the recent post about MPG using Fourtraks and UK/US gallons. I decided at the time to do a MPG test, which coincided with the snowy weather, but decided to go ahead.

I have always liked old deffenders from about 12 yrs old but I didnt want to spend silly money on one, my dad has just bought a sportrak ELXI and I had a drive in it last night and I love it.
Hi i have been looking at my sportrack and trying to getto grips with undestanding more about the engine. for the more experienced mechanics out there is there a guide with pics as well as to how to remove the injectors and the fuel rail etc. Also is there a kit of o rings etc that can be bought for the sprotrack jees injectors?
also can a computer be hooked up to the sportrack to read the codes a computer diagnostics programme.

Seeing lots of comments about tyres I have just fitted a set of General Grabber AT tyres (205, 75, r15) and I am pretty impressed so far. They have a good fairly aggressive tread pattern and only slightly noisier than the Duellers that came off.
No serious mud yet but they should do the job.
My 'Trak is coming up for her next MOT in April, and what with cash being a bit tight, I'm starting the bits that need doing now.
It's basically just all the supplementary suspension bushes, so front and rear anti-roll bars and the bushes on the panard on the rear.
