New Daihatsu Terios Not Available

Forum:

I am interested in buying a new Daihatsu Terios, after looking through the brochure and internet reviews and refering to thelatest price list (Jan 2010) I approched my local Daihatsu dealer to book a test drive. To my amazement, he had no car he could let me test drive and told me that due to the exchange rate of the Yen and pound a new Terios would not be available for about another year.

Alloy Wheels and Studs

Forum:

I may be getting some alloy wheels for my 1990 F70. This came with steel rims as standard, I think the alloys are from an Independent, but I am not sure. Will the alloys fit on my hubs with the existing wheel studs? I work with lorrys and know that alloys are thicker and therefore require the studs to be changed for longer ones. I suddenly thought of this and think it would be better to know before I buy the alloys ^_^

Cheers, Stalin.

What this worth?

Forum:

What do you think this is worth:
A 1990 Daihatsu Froutrak EL Turbo. 75,000 miles, taxed until March, MOT til August, in reasonable condition for the year.

I'm wanting a decent Fourtrak for some towing of my track car and a bit of off roading. Would something like this be suitable?

thanks in advance guys.

How do I lock the Crank/Cam to Replace timing belt - Sportrak?

Forum:

We have a sad sportrak in work with a sorry headgasket, we are looking into it next week with my yound students. I have the ebay cd but need to clarify how to lock it up. It mentions 5th gear but I am a bit dubious.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

newbie Sporty

Forum:

Hi guys just to say hi and thankyou for all the info on this site, had my sporty about 8 months now after buying it for £500, and the few problems its had, abite some more serious than others your a valuable source of information which have helped me put her right... will hopefully get round to a little modding in the following year, alond with a bit of light off roading. got tired (and poor) of being a ricer and decided on something a bit more unique... will post pics shortly as iv already de-vinyled it, sprayed the steel rims and customised the spare wheel cover.
