Hi to all. Have been looking to purchase Terios Sport, and have just test driven one with 28,000 on clock, and in super condition. However, reason for this post, is that whilst all appeared well initially, when travelling at 50mph on a straight piece of road, all of a sudden the car tracked dreadfully to the left - very unnerving! It also seemed to be prone to movement by road surface condition and side winds. Now I am unsure whether all or any of this could be due to the tyres (which may have been under inflated), or wheel size (the Sport has I think 17" diam.
I have a Terios auto on an R plate can anyone tell me what MPG I should be getting. I find it very thirsty and get typically 24 mpg max. I admit I do have an heavy right foot.I have fitted a Pipercross air filter and that did improve things a bit . I use the Terios for work with a full boot [tools etc I am an Electrician]on normal roads and motorways but it is quite hilly here in Yorkshire.Apart from MPG I love it. Any response welcomed.
Hi
I have just bought a Mitsubishi Pajero which has a bad bend in the front nearside chassis rail. Does anyone know of anyone with a jig suitable for repairing this (ladder rail type I think)anywhere near the Scottish Borders who will give me a price to repair it. Any help would be a benefit. It's pushed in and back and is a few inches out I am told.
I have a 1995 fourtrak TDS that has a major welding problem on the chassis. It is a lovely runner and had new clutch, cam belt and other stuff over the last 18months. Not sure whether to break it or sell it as a whol. Any ideas? thanks
Ive read the diffs part in the how it works section which has made me a little confused! I know this will probably sound realy stupid to most people but im very new to 4x4s!
Ive seen "locking differentials" and would like someone please explain them to me?
does a locking diff mean all 4 wheels turn at the same speed?
do fourtraks have an option to "lock the diffs"
Hi I have finnaly got my F73/78 Manual for the fourtrak and rocky independant 93-99 ready on disc.. I am posting it from Australia and you can find it on ebay.. the listing has a picture of a black independant f78 on it....
Suggest all Fourtrak and Sportrak owners read this NEW section in the "How it Works",(top of page) lots of other info there as well. Written by "assassin", that well known contributor to the site.
Spotted a genuine paper bound service manual on Ebay this morning. £25 at the mo, but still 3 days to go and no, it's not me selling it.
Rare as rocking horse droppings these. Will be interesting to see what it goes for. Somebody's going to get a useful book!
