I GOT TERIOS....

Forum:

I have a 08 TERIOS Mk3 and I love it. (I know it's not perfect and it's not a landcruiser - but it's great just the same).

Done a bit of green laning and towed a luton box van the other day to get it out of the traffic-impressed so far!

Anyone else out there got one????????? let me know.
Who know' maybe one day a TERIOS MEET?????

PTO

Forum:

I've just read one of the great How It Works articles wrtten by assassin and discovered that some Daihatsu's had a PTO drive coming off the transfer box, as a farming lad this gets me very excited Smile (although obviously compared to tractor PTO it'll have its limitations)

EASY VYNIL REMOVAL

Forum:

ANYONE HAD TROUBLE GETTING VYNIL OFF????!!!!!!?????

The answer is very simple. You need;
A PLASTIC scraper - it must be plastic.
A bottle of Meths - (NOT for drinking- it's 'orrible)
A bottle or two of cheap NAIL VARNISH REMOVER - ie Tesco's own - don't buy fancy one's they are no better.
A heat gun or GOOD hairdryer.

Just got my 1991 fourtrack but a little confused?

Forum:

Hi Guys
Right, Just purchased my Fourtrak but a bit confused.

I was told it was a DL but then this has electric windows and central locking which i believe the DL did not. I think it could be a DLX but i was also told on a J plate they where not made yet.

Can anyone confirm?

Howto lift your Fourtrak

Forum:

How's the springover going? I've decided to stay with leaf springs as I have the car set up so well and the wider axles will increase the spring rate and so soften the suspension, also I'm working on scissor shackles for the rear but they will require relocated and longer rear shocks and other custom components.
Keep having fun
regards
Dave

just lifted sporty

Forum:

hi just got round lifting with some home made shackles my sporty and what a job it was seized solid but after a little thinking i ended up putting a rachet strap round the shackle and then round the leaf spring on the other side and just gave enough pull to help it on its way with the biggest hammer i could find to twat the bolt with but 1.1/4 lift dident think it would handle a lot diffant on the road but supprised how much more boaty its become all good tho you cant have everything suppose just got to wait till autum and get some bigger tyres for it
