I have a 94 fourtrak and im having problems with where to mount a cb aerial on it as there is not much metal on the roof and already have a britax light in the middle of the metal roofinf area. I have thought about going through the fibre glass back roof but wondered if i would have problems with it cracking or leaking? any suggestions would be greatly recieved. Thanks
hi all, was looking at a Fourtak today, and wondered if i could get some advice from more knowledgable people.
the fourtrak is a 2000 Fourtrak tdx se. the bodys in good condition, as is the underside. the interior smells of farm use, is a commercial with no back seats. the fact that it was a farmers car has plusses and minuses. it more than likely wasnt abused.
if i am stuck on the beach, and i need to be pulled out forwards, is it ok to just tie a rope thru the eyelet bit under the bumper, near the sump guard, or should i be looking at doing something else!!!!?
I would like to bring all the discussion about this together. So if you have posted previously, cut and paste or re post. This issue is being picked up on many sites around the world. Just put in your browser "2t oil and diesel" or similar and read the hits. Okay , it may be a urban rumour/myth, or it may have some truth.
For some time the Peak District national Park Authority have been monitoring the use of off road routes, previously closed by the NERC bill in 2006. They are suffering from overuse of current routes and are looking at the possibility of opening a number of them up.
I've got a Daihatsu 2.8L NA diesel in my Series III Land Rover* which was imported from the UK to the USA, unfortunately none of the diesel Daihatsus were ever imported/sold over here so the parts suppliers can't help me out. Having a parts book for this engine would greatly ease the pain of ordering and parts internationally. Any known sources or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
hello all ive been after a 4x4 for a while now and looked for a long time for a range rover i studied them learned alot about them and the went out and bought a diahatsu fourtak lol.
the only thing is i know nothing about them, any chance of a quick intro to them, what there about ,how they perform ,maintenance concerns anything you consider important to owning one id like to hear.
