I have just got an F50 based jeep and would like to find out more about the model. It is an 1981 truck and I would like to find a parts supplier and any other info on this vehicle. My plan is to use the jeep for offroading. Grateful for any info.
Hello everyone! I bought a K-reg Fourtrak a couple of months back. Been quite pleased with it, it tows well and is proving very useful- spent today dragging sixty foot birch trees about with it. Got a few questions need answering if anyone would be so kind, so here goes!
i own 1995 sportrak but appears i have clutch prob & fuel pipe corrosion should i also expect corrosion to underside and is welding something to look forward to. i was thinking of new daihatsu but love the look of sportrak so much am considering spending some dosh on it (am i wasting my cash??)
I have recently purchased a 1995 Sportrak Automatic 1.6 Elxi - on the gear selector I have an overdrive button and a small red button, obviously I know what the overdrive button does but have no idea what the red button is for (unfortunately the owners handbook is in Japanese!)

Many of you "uk" fellows would have noticed the amount of rain we have recieved again, (even after the summer!)subsequently this has resulted in many floods!! yeah!! however its allways a little scary when ur driving though country lanes which are heavily flooded with no 1 around, so on my 97 fourtrak how deep is it safe to go with having problems?? (mainly above or below headlights?) ps i have no snorkal clearly :D:-D:lol:
Thanks
Well, I couldnt put it off. The 95'M plater has done 88k and done it's share of dragging the caravan. But looking at the grey January weather, feeling the bitter cold and as I didn't want another hernia-inducing episode underneath, I got a price of £300 from the local fettler all-in which I didn't think too bad.
I have a 2.8 td engine in my Landie and added a VDO temp. guage to keep an eye on things. It runs around 170 to 180 degrees(F) around town and about 187 to 190 at highway speeds or up to 200 on long highway grades. What does the same engine run at in a Fourtrak? Do my temps seem normal?
