Hi to all of you, just got myself a nice little elxi sportrac, picked it up after bout 3 months research and looking at vitaras, well all seems ok with it, (few noises from under the bonnet) but its 15 years old so what do you exspect.
as a new owner can you advise on things to look out for, any info would be great.
Hi was hoping someone out there can offer some help,have brought myself an F50,and love it to bits(will post some pics soon) but as the dreaded MOT is coming soon i know i will need to get some new parts to help her through,my question is WHERE? Have been looking through 4x4 mags etc but can find nothing,are main dealers any good,are they able to get bits for them? Any help will be a godsend

I'm thinking of selling my Fourtrak, wondered what anyone thought it might go for. It's a P reg 2.8 TDX, in green, nice big alloys, 31 x 10.5 x 15 all terrain tyres, bull bar, spots, side steps, excellent paintwork, no rust, bone dry underneath, interior ok but a bit tatty on drivers door card, it's done 157k. Any thoughts?
I'm trying to buy an old Fourtrak for IRO £1K to £1500. I don't expect to be doing long journeys in it - mainly using it off road and for short towing.
Is there much advantage in getting an Independent - or are the coil spring ones OK??
Are there any disadvantages to the Independents??
Is there anything in particular, apart from rust, that I need to ask about or check??
Does anybody know what year the turbo changed? Mine is a 1989 model but I believe there are two turbo's are they compatable. I think the later one has two lines cast into the turbo housing above and below the TURBO writing on top of the ally housing. The earlier version just has the word TURBO cast into the houseing. Any help appreciated as need to buy the r
i have come to the conclusion that my 91 td fourtrak needs a new battery, it starts up perfectly when i have taken the battery out and mains charged it but it loses charge so within a week the thing is only just firing up.
I know people have fitted two batterys to theirs but thats to run things when the engine is not running, i was wondering what people have done to improve the starting performance of their batteries?
HELLO CAN ANY BODY HELP I HAVE TRIED TO GET A NEW RAD CAP FOR MY F20 AND I CARNT SEEM TO GET ONE TREID A NUMBER OFF DEALERS AND AUTO FACTORS BUT THAY INSIST THAT F20 IS NOT THE RIGHT MODEL PLEASE HELP thanks anthony
