hi everybody
i need your help. firstly my leaf springs are looking quite straight are these in need of a change now?
also if i do need to change how do i go about doing this as i don't have a manual. and how do i go about getting a cd manual as i desperately need one and i am willing to send money to anybody who can get one for me.
I have only just realised after reading through the manual a little, that on "our" H reg rocky, the rear lights in the body dont work, and the Lights in rear bumper were a modification to make the rear a bit safer, for example when it's dark and the back door is open, it seems the spare wheel blocks the right rear light.
Also the Spare wheel was mounted lower to give more vision through the back window for the driver.
I Have A DAIHATSU FOURTRAK INDEPENDENCE I Have been unable to acquire A full length roof rack so I intend to fabricate on myself, however I’m unsure how to fit one to the rear portion of the roof.
Do the steel disc within the roof come out to expose mounting points, if so how? if they do, not is there anyone who can tell me where a factory produced roof rack is mounted and how?
If anyone knows could you reply ASAP.
please help does anyone no were to get a cheep lifting kit from and were is the closest place to get my truck muddy near notts eg clubs or ofroad /greenlanes
Found two rockeys ( f70rv) with dl engines on a sale. Both are heavily rusted and not in running condition. They couldnt be started. However chasi seems to be ok. No major accidents.
Iam thinking of buying one...if any one of you could give me some tips or some advice before i make the decision!!
just noticed ive headlamp washers on my fourtrak there is a separate container under the bonnet for the water but cant find anything on the dash for working it

Any ideas where I can get some new rear mud flaps from? Daihatsu would probably have some but would want an arm and a leg for them. Maybe someone will know a 4x4 shop that sell somekind of universal flap that would cover a large tyre.

Our Sportrak has developed a whine noise from the engine, it's not a smooth bearing sound, more like a rough siren whine. Listening around with a stick the noise appears to be coming from the hydraulic pump which is presumably on it's way out.
Has anyone else had this problem to validate my diagnosis before I go and find a new pump?
