I asked a while ago if anybody new what the flexi pipe was, I was told by a dealer it was part of the exhaust system, and may be needing replaced soon. I cannot find it mentioned in my manual, can anybody tell me if there is such a thing or is the dealer trying to screw me out of money?

Can some one provide me with the phone number for the bloke who breaks fourtraks out near Matlock, he has a small breakers on a cross roads thats all I can remember
Got the rear glass sorted on insurance thankfully, and it seems a regular stock item... I was worried about having to wait a few days for them to source one.
The actual cost of a new one is an eye-watering £465, so I'd like to take this oppotunity to thank Lurch and others who PM/mailed me with offers of help in sourcing one, and adresses of those breaking Sportraks. Great to know help is there when needed!
BIG UP to the guy (No names, no pack drill) who has seen a Feroza being stripped in Germany, and offered to do a 170km detour in his truck this week to get the glass, shove it in his
I have noticed on ebay that someone in germany is selling Dash kits to make Daihatsu's look all Snazzy. Obviously I want a brushed aluminium effect one, however the one that the person is selling as one for a Rocky II seems to look like the Feroza one, but with a lot more bits. The F78 one is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=243002361 and the F300 one is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2430023521 I did think about ordering the Rocky II one if they are the same size as u get more bits. They are a bit expensive to buy both.
I have noticed today that my Sportrak seems to have started leaning to extremes when cornering at any speed. The leafsprings are the original ones, and it is a 1995 Sportrak. There is also a clicking when I go over some bumps which seems to come from the back. But I can't see any crack or breaks so thought if there is any then it must be around the middle part where it could be hidden and held together.
If I do need leafsprings how easy are they to replace myself. As it is almost common knowledge on this site now among the *trak owners that Milner are the best for leafsprings, and if its ea
Being a U.S. owner of a Daihatsu Rocky has its ups and downs. On the up side, I get to drive a great little truck that is just enough SUV to be fun, but not so much truck that it's a petrol-guzzling behemoth. A wise choice, considering that the price of fuel only seems to go up with no end in sight.
The down side is what has me puzzled. As some of you are aware, there are no longer any Daihatsu dealers in the U.S. and finding parts is a real chore. I have contacted some of of the parts dealers listed on this site, but none will ship directly overseas. Is there someone out there who would be willing to take a parts order and ship it for me? I would prefer someone who is a business owner and would be willing to take credit card payments.
Hi, I'm another new fourtrack driver on the road and new to this site. I am looking for help in searching for a servicing manual on paper or disc for a F73 2.8 turbo deisel.I am aware from recent discussions that it would be easier squeezing blood out of a stone than finding a manual but if anyone can help, I'd be most grateful.Mines an L reg, and has had a good battering so I'm eager to get under it but need some guidance.thanks,pedro705
