Having needed a car that can get me to work, lug my fishing gear, and be a bit of a weekend warrior in the pits and on green lanes, I've just bought a 96 Fourtrack.

I've read a few reviews etc, but what if any are the weakpoints/problem areas I should be looking for/upgrading etc etc

Hello. I am a relatively new (and happy) owner of a 1998 Grand Move+ and live in London. I need to change motor oil. Last time I did so, I was charged a fortune (online) to buy filter and gasket. Where can I buy an oil filter CHEAPLY? Are Daihatsu spare parts always so incredibly expensive here in the UK?

my fourtrak has normal size road tyres 215/75/15 at present and have to be replaced as they have no grip in the wet.

ive found some good all terrain tyres for the right price,but they are
195/75/15 would these fit on the rims i have and would they loose are performance through this 20mm loss of width .

I've noticed the rubber pipe from the rocker cover to the intake manifold before, and haven't thought much about it, but I was reading of some problems with EGR systems, and to be they look similar. EGR results in reduced performance in exchange for less emissions, but does PCV have the same effect on the daihatsu engine? The crankcase gases arn't going to be improving performance, but do you think they are having a noticeable effect? On all the lorries I work on the crankcase breather just ends at the sump and blows the gas into the air.

Me again, I have an offer of a pair of Sportrak front seats. They are from a scrap yard and will have to be couriered so I need to know if they will fit my Fourtrak before I order them. I know some trim stuff was interchangeable so I was wondering if the seats were.
