im new to the daihatsu 4x4 scene im mad on classic minis and 4x4's as you can see in the gallery this is the bastard child of the two scenes im going to be rebuilding her i know how to rebuild a mini but i need info on how to rebuild the f 20 running gear engine ect any help would be great cheers

Hello all. I discovered today that I have a O/S/R bottom leaf broken. Even though my F70 is a Fieldman, I have the "comfort" springs. The ride isn't great as it is so I don't really want to get the multi-leaf standard springs(also that I'd have to buy 2!). Have any of you got/had the "Comfort" springs, and do they really give a better ride than the standard? If I have to buy 2 new rear springs where is the best place to get them, and what is a decent price? I've heard a lot of stories about new springs braking ect ect.

Just bought a Fourtrak, and was trying out the 4 wheel drive, but on returning to 'normal drive', forgot to reverse for a few yards. I then drove for about 5 miles, with a slight noise coming from the engine area. I then stopped the vehicle, and reversed , which stopped the 'funny' noise. Will I have caused any damage to the 4x4 system.?
