Im looking to do quite a radical modification to my hijet MPV, 1996 - I was wondering if anyone knew any companies that did alloys for something so small? If anyone knows of anywhere that does body kits etc for them...
... Im going to do the work myself, its just I need the parts, rather than chopping up smaller car parts etc.
i have a feeling that i have the wrong insurance.
this is my 1st set of 4 wheels, i thought it was a van, i knew it had windows all round. i didnt know its actually a MPV till a few days afterwards.
i looked at the insurance co i used, they only have panel van in the menu.
what insurance company's do you lot use?
is there MPV specific insurance?
Hi, I was talking to a guy recently who used to own a Hijet,and he reckoned that he rigged up the fan to run constantly, in view of the good ol' overheating problem.
Has anyone else heard of this, and what do you think- Good or
Bad idea?
my Hijet is a MPV, its tax classed as light goods and i have commercial insurance on it as none of the car web sites had the hijet listed!
it was insured as a 2 seater as all the seats in the back had been removed by a prev owner.
i bought a single HiJet MPV seat from ebay came with the bolts/seatbelt anchor.
so i fit the seat and phone insurance co to let them know........
just bought a single rear seat for my hijet.
the chap (based in west Yorkshire) who i bought it from still has a double rear seat for sale.

Hi, My Sept 2003 Hijet 1300 van was supplied from the factory fitted with Prinz LPG. The log book states LPG. Am I on the correct road tax rate at £180 per year? If not, what can I do about it? Thanks for your comments. John.
