hi I have a hijet 1300 efi van and need the back section of the exhaust to pass on the mot as mine has rusted through.
daihatsu too quoted me 200 pounds plus vat.
i have been looking and seen this it is for the 1.2 diesel model but looks the same.
does any one know if it will fit.

Hi Daihatsu owners. I have a Charade 1.6 GSXi 16v 1993. Does any other Jap make alternative ie mazda,toyota or mitsi rear brake discs fit my on going project. Skimmed the original discs, but not good enough for mot. PLEASE HELP
I have just had a look in the engine bay of my recently purchased hijet 993cc just to get a general idea of the condition of things like the oil, coolant and air filter etc. I was left a bit confused after following the ducting from the airbox forwards (away from the engine) to find that it branches out in a Y shape - and more confused when it became apparent that both arms of the Y terminate at dead ends? One end is moulded closed and the other seems to finish butted against the chassis.
I've just bought a 1996 Hijet camper with no MOT and multiple faults. Joining this forum should help me with parts and tips, I'll need both.
Write again when I have a better idea of what I need.

well after my dihatsu has been on ebay, its sold! finally gone back to what i know inside and out, and love to bits, the suzuki's!
this is my third suzuki, and will out do my old dihatsu time and time again, with a dihatsu i can walk away, but with a suzuki i just carnt, the looks, the preformance, the ability and the prices, out dose a dihatsu every time!
