Hijet air filter 1.3 EFi 16v/Compatibility???

Hello Hijeters!!! Ive been trying with no success to source a replacement panel air filter for my Hijet van 1.3EFi 16v 1999-V reg. K&N and Pipercross do not supply any for the Hijet.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the air filters on both the Hijet 1.3 Efi 16v are the same as the Charrade or sorion?????? or indeen any other small Daihatsu car/van.

Hi all,
Is there anybody out there still driving one of these or am I alone...!
I,m looking for an owners handbook, door panels for the passengers and drivers doors and part of the dashboard that houses the heater controls and the radio, cigarette lighter and ashtray if any one can help?
Would also like to hear from any other 850 cc Hijet owners out there!

Hi everyone!

I took the plunge and bought my 2004 Daihatsu Hijet yesterday, after looking around for ages. Its an EFI LPG 1.3, and looks like it's had a couple of little knocks, and drives really well. Its a silver grey colour, and looks great, though I'm going to see if I can make it look better!

I need a bit of advice on a few areas from your experienced brains...

Hijet A bar (Bullbar) 1999 MY

Hi, is there anybody out there who has a A bar like the one fitted to MAX's hijet in the commercial pictures gallery. I just cant find one or source one. Cobra who make them no-longer do them. Ive tried.

Will the bullbars from the pre-facelift hijet go onto the newer shape fronted hijet?? I value any info from anyone.

Fitting of driving lights

I want to fit driving lights to my 99 model Fourtrak I've used in the past a lighting bar from Daihatsu but it basically rotted away and was very poorly made the threaded inserts packing up almost from new. I want to steer away from 'A' bars or bull-bars due to the legislation issue. Are there any makers of just lighting bars out there to fit the Fourtrak.

Hi all,custom exhaust c/o, of Market Rasen, in LINCOLNSHIRE,(tel 01673862777, a great guy, actually called , custom performance ltd, will make you a custom pipe in heavey gauge stainless, at a reasonable price he did my hijet in about 2and a half hours, custom built, with a nice purr 2 it also, just sounds like the old peko if anyone can remember them!!
