Ihave a cuore 1992.I bought it from another owner.It looses power and stops.no one can fgure it out, neither mecanics.I am considering to sell it but I found this site and thought that others may have experienced this, or it is a 1992 model defect.My father is a mechanic.When this happens, he checks it out and it works ok.he spray(Solveit) sometimes and it gets ok.after a while it does the same, more and more frequently.It start shaking too much and then looses power and stops.lately it is also giving out white smoke.Help is very appreciated.thanks

Only happens over 3000 RPM, when cruising. Engine suddenly looses power and if I try to compensate by flooring the accelerator it judders and will not pick up. Took me a while to find a quick recovery. What I have to do when I loose power is floor the clutch and let the revs drop to idle whilst I coast,once the revs have dropped below 1200RPM it will pick up again for another while. There is no fuel blockage and the filter is clear also it doesn't feel like starvation. It is like somebody has thrown a switch and it wont reset until I let the RPM wind down. Round town it doesn't miss a beat.

Can you remove and replace a alternator without too much trouble and how or whats involved.
Its on a sporty elxi I dont really want to take the rad out unless its nessasary.

Hello i have a Sportrak can any one tell me if the window motor needs an earth going to it? Mine has just gone, so i bought another one from a breakers and thats not working either,i never bolted that one up to the door to test it. Does it need to be bolted to recive an earth? If not could it be elsewhere that it could be? I tested the live going to the motor and thats ok.
