I lost my Daihatsu Cuore's original key and it would'nt start with the copy. Took it to the dealers and they charge me £500 for a new one (programmed), the car is not worth it. Does any body know what I could do, i.e. replace some parts or somehting.

hi, I just got a charade Xi 1.3 several days ago, cause the seller didnot intall the CD&radio for me, My friend and I tried to install it ourself, but unforthunatly after we tested the power line for the CD ( there are lots of lines which we canot discriminate which is which) we didnot find the power line with the help of the meter. so we gave up and hope to send it to a garage now. The problem I got is when I turned the lights on at night , the rear red light and panel lights were gone, I think we must do something stupid at the power line (short cut?)and destroy something to the other parts of the car circut at the same time.
How do you replace the heater hoses for a Charade 1993, As water is being squirted onto the windscreen when heater is switched on. If anyone can supply drawings from a workshop manual could you please e-mail to me. hey people... my charade 96 tsi is losing fluid through the heater vents... it is definately coming from the radiator somewhere as it is green the same colour as the coolant... i noticed this as i was driving along and the car was overheating... when i pulled up a heap of steam came gushing out the vents!!! i am giving the radiator a flush today and changing all the hoses as well... how can i stop

i hav a bit of a dilemma.
i own a 1992 Mira Trxx and have a problem
i need to know if the block of a standard 3 cyl 660cc mira can perfectly align and fit that one of a mira trxx?????
can any one help me as i have a huge hole where the engine mount is on the base of the engine and need to replace that section of the engine. im hoping a standard 92 mira or some other sort can directly sit under the trxx engine top?
Hi, I am having problems in filling up my fuel tank on a Charade CX
What happens is that during fill-up the station pump automatically cuts out as if the fuel tank is full. However in reality less than a quarter of the tank will be filled up. It is as if the fuel tank is clogged.
The only way I can fill up more is by pouring fuel slowly, hence manually through a plastic tank. Has anybody encountered this problem?

I'm becoming increasingly desperate. I bought a used Charade with only one grey key. The dealer promised to send me the others but is yet to do so. Now this one key got damaged and will not start the engine. Have been on the phone and still no succes. One Daihatsu dealer in Essex told me I may have to spend over £1,400 to sort this mess out. Please, HELP.
OK, It's not strictly a Daihatsu but it does have a Daihatsu engine and the company is owned by Daihatsu/Toyota.
My wife has just bought a Perodua Nippa fitted with a Daihatsu 3 cylinder 847cc engine. I don't have an owners manual or service info. Can anyone give me any servicing information, i.e. how much oil does it hold, how often is servicing required etc, etc.
