I just bought my first car, the 1999 Sirion, and it drives fabulously. However, after having the car for about 1 week, the hazard lights start automatically whenever I brake. I cannot turn off the hazard lights while the car is in full stop, only when I start driving the car again can I turn off the hazard lights. Before the hazard lights start I can hear a ticking noise from under the radio. I have looked under the hood to find any rusted down wires, but couldn't find any at first glance. I would like to fix this myself, but don't know where to start, does anyone have advice?

May be a simple one of one of you, the wing mirrors are stuck on the folded in position and wont fold out. The lighter is also not working.

On a previous post it suggests a fuse but I cannot locate under the bonnet or under the dash in either fuse box a fuse that would cover these items.

I've searched on line to no avail. Anyone know?

New to the forum as I recently bought the Mrs an 08 reg Sirion auto 1.3. Recently had engine light on and diagnosed it as pre-cat lambda sensor. I have searched a lot on here and through the various cross reference sites. I have fitted a DOX-236. Looking any sites they say it should be DOX 113 pre-cat - and when I took the old one out and cross referencesdthe part number 89465-b1040 this also comes up, but it is always universal fit?

Have I screwed up fitting DOX 236 which is a post-cat one by fitting one pre-cat?

I'm lost! Any help appreciated.

Hi I have a few issues i believe are unrelated. The First issue is when i am pulling away and releasing the brake or coming to a standstill there is a loud sound as the break is release or pressed. could describe it as a short sharp grinding sound. I have had the caliper replaced and new pads fitted which made no difference. My second issue is that when stopped with the car in D i can feel the vibration from the engine, this is worse when things like air con are turned on, also when stopping at a junction there is a short vibration before the car stops.

I have the ABS lamp and VSC lamp come on. Had it to the dealership and they diagnostic it. Came down to that there is a wire somewhere that has broken. Do anyone have a wiring diagram or some idea for what to begin with if i want to try find the fault myself first. I know my english susks.
