Air Con Fully Gassed & working but cuts out while stopped

Car has been working fine for the last 3 years (since I owned it) and due to the heat where we live its on all the time.
If you are driving along it is fine and cool, So we know it has gas & have been told today by an air con tech that it is still full.
However if you stop for a few minutes you will then hear the fan cut out and then almost straight away the air con completely stops and we are flooded with warm air.
It does appear that if I rev the car it then works.

Any ideas and why does the fan stop working?

Charade radiator removal

Hi. Has anyone removed the radiator from a 2004 Daihatsu Charade Automatic? If so could you please let me know how it is done as mine is leaking and I want to replace it. I am having problems removing the front bumper also, which I believe would make the job a lost easier. Thanks for any help someone may give me!

02 sirion auto cam belt change

I need to change the cam belt on my wife's sirion, getting the crank pulley off is my first problem. How does one lock the engine to undo the crank bolt and are there any other special precautions I need to take?

It's simple enough, access hole through inner wing to loosen crankshaft nut with 19mm impact socket. Remove auxiliary belts. Remove top bolts from cambelt cover, Bring engine to TDC on 1 cylinder using mark on crankshaft pulley and timing belt cover..

Sirion 1.0 (2009) engine noise

Hi all, I'm trying to diagnose a noise coming from the engine of my Sirion 1.0 3-cyl 2009... Whilst it's hard to describe here are some of the characteristics:
- high-frequency ticking / rattling noise from the front left side (mine's a LHD) - a cross between pinking and fan belt squeal but not either as far i can tell
- most prevalent on acceleration and more noticeable in gears 1-2 and 3
- only makes noise when car is in gear, no trace when revving in neutral

***UPDATE 2 - SOLVED***

Problem solved - I will quickly outline below how I arranged things, in case anyone in future will have a similar problem and need a reference...

1) the first thing to say is that my doubt about screw holes (see below) turned out to be irrelevant - speaker holes in the Cuore doors fit to a 160mm diameter speaker, and those speakers seem to have by standard a lot of screw holes pre-cut in their external ring. You just rotate the speaker until you find a combination of holes that fit with those on the door and you're set.
