I'm tempted to use the Evans coolant recommended by Bob but getting rid of all the water is a pain. I'm also interested in this stuff but its not cheap -
Does anyone have wiring diagram for 2001 sirion 1lt?

A alternative to the Rally Foam air filter is the cotton oiled offering by JR/Jetex (same company, JR make the filters but rebranded Jetex for UK market.
Better than the foam IMO, filtration 99% at 2.8 microns with TUV approval, and they have pleats for much more surface area compared to flat foam.
Recorded this to just show the parameters that can be viewed and datalogged on the Dashdaq... Still learning about it as it is quite an advanced bit of kit! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldHxns94M4g
Anyway, I have high quality oil filters on Ebay (sold in 4's), for the vast majority of Daihatsu cars. (not the newer element style filters such as new Sirion 2005 onwards)
Been selling them for a while but only listed for the GTti.
Charade/Applause/Sirion/YRV/Copen/Move/Hi-jet etc all use same oil filter.
The front brake caliper top bolt/ slider pin snapped on my rally 2 yesterday.
I hope I can ring daihatsu on monday and get a replacement easily??
Seeing as the caliper was off I went to my shed which is full of Lancia delta parts as I also own 2 of these.
Couldnt belive it but a lancia delta hf turbo caliper fits the strut, lines up with the sirion disc and has plenty of wheel clearence.
