Hi all. Looking at possibility of importing SNORKEL HEADS. they would be "Safari type" (copies) with 3" or 3 1/2" fitting.
Questions are: is there a market for them at sensible prices (probably about price of Southdown heads) and which is the more common size?
Any help would be apprecciated here as I would have to buy in fairly large quantities!

hi i have a 92 g102 charade with the 1.3l what i have done is i put a daihatsu applause 101 1.6l hd engine and gearbox into my charade and disc brake rear end i have fully rebuilt both engine and gear box but in the mornings when i start it up it runs like a bucket of piss when cold and wont drive until fully warmed up i think its the ecu its still running the 1.3l ecu not the 1.6 because i like engine reves 1.3 redlines at 7200rpm the1.6 redlines at 6200 rpm anyway do you has any one done this conversion before if so what ecu would you run to fix this problem also im trying to find a 1.3lh
hello everybody im new to this forum, i've done a lot of engine swaps to the daihatsu mira and produa kelisa, they are all running with YRV K3VET engines very well with no problem, but now i'm trying to swap the same engine in 2009 Daihatsu Sirion, but it seems that there is a very big difference between the new K3VET control unit wiring (P30) and the original 1KR 1000c.c. control unit (G42) i need a wiring to the two control units for the pin outs so i can continue working......i will be very thankful for your respons.

I'm a new Daihatsu owner having recently purchased a 1992 Mira with 20K miles on the clock.
I would like to make a few mod's to it such as wheels and tyres and if possible increase the Power.
I know the new Materia's come with a aux/mp3 socket and wondered if the part is available to retro fit for a 2007 model? I phoned my local dealer but they don't seem to have a clue.
I spotted one on a German website but they want 145 euros to ship the UK and I'm not even sure it would do the job.
