Seven years ago, when my Charade was brand new, an amateur radio installer cut my OBD2 connector to fit the radio! I only got to know of this recently when the car's Malfunction Indicator Light turned on and I went to check for the problem. I need to have a wiring diagram or a photo of the wired connector to solve my problem by connecting the wires to a new connector. Can anyone supply a photo or a diagram. My Charade is of 2003 - the first batch of the L251 model imported into Europe, I believe.
hi, im a sportrak enthuasiast, i love my 96 and had big plans for it, unfortunatly the common problem of chassis decay has taken its toll, its way too good for the scrapheap and am in dire needs of a doner good condtion chassis? anybody know where i can get one? apparantly it would be better to replace the chassis than get it welded etc...! thank you Ray
I am trying to narrow down why my YRV Turbo is taking so long to blow warm air out the vents compared to all other cars I have owned, and even compared to my wife's Charade.
The car gets up to temp on the gauge after about 3-5 minutes of normal driving. But it takes about 15minutes to stop blowing icey air through the air vents. Even then, its not hot.
I've got a 1994 Charade GLXI auto and have been attempting to find out in halfords what plugs to stuff in it. According to their website it should be Bosch FR7DCX but according to the book in the shop it was Bosch FR78X, which is the Super 4 plug.
Anyone know if these are OK or whether I go back and get something else?
The rear windscreen washer on my 2003 Terios has stopped working, apart from a very slow trickle. I think there maybe an inline filter that is blocked but wondered where it is
Well the good old D4 light has flashed on 4 separate occasions today. After a restart each time, it went away, apart from one occasion where it did it twice in succession, and on the third attempt of restarting, it went away but the MIL/Engine light was on. Restarted it and MIL still on. Drive 5 miles with it on (past caring now), stop for 10 mins, restart MIL gone. Went out earlier after leaving the car for 3 hours and MIL still off, but D4 did its thing again. Restart, all ok.....................
We have a 2004 Charade SL, which goes very well, but both front tyres lose pressure. I have been to a local tyre establishment, who told me that alloy wheels, especially Japanese ones, are prone to leakage. I've had the tyres re-fitted twice, so far, with extra 'goo' to help them seal. Is this a common problem? Would it be practical to change to steel wheels instead? What is the full spec. of the wheels? - I can find no information in the literature that came with the vehicle, other than the tyre size. (155/65-R13 73S)

I had problem with my car YRV Turbo engine.
When i start the car it show that no problem at all.
Problem arise when i try to reverse my car which is gearbox seems to be shacking like hell.
Even i put on D mode also i show shacking and when i drive gear only can run from gear 1 to gear 2 only...
But this problem only occurs during raining time.
Is any one had this problem.

Hello could anyone advise I have a Diahatsu Move + three cylinder which has been very reliable up to now my problem is it will not start , it cranks over no problem and I can hear the fuel pump prime up and if I remove the fuel pipe from the filter body it gushes out ok.
