we have a charade 1.6 1995 gsxi.
we have had the car about a month now and all has been fine.
no noises's etc until last night when in 3rd gear. it jumped out of gear
whilst driving and made a clunk sort of noise.
afetr that it will not go into 1st or 2nd gear at all.
the gear stick will not even push over to the left side.
it goes into 3rd 4th 5th and reverse.
I have a 2007 Sirion 1.3L Auto. I recently took it in for a check up and they guy there told me that the battery needed to be changed, however he not only wanted almost $300 for it, but also wanted to saw part of the seat off to house the larger replacement battery.
Hello I have a Piaggio Porter with petrol 993cc Diahtsu Engine year of manufacture 1994, and I have this problem. At first when starting it works fine, switch on and off no problem, after using it(driving it) for about 1 hour the engine symbol on the dashboard panel switch on then after few minutes the engine switches off by itself. When try to re starting again it would not start but the engine symbol remains on. After let it for 1 1/2 hour it starts perferctly. Any help please.
My indicator lights stopped flashing this morning and would stay lit rather than flash. Shortly aftwarwards the indicators then failed completely so now won't illuminate at all when flipping signal control arm up/down.
The hazard lights still work perfectly, so I guess it may not be the relay.
The other lights operated using the same indicator control arm also still function.
My wife's Sirion has suddenly developed a problem with the windscreen washer.
When you pull the stalk the water only comes out slowly and doesn't make it as far as the windscreen! The nearside jet seems to produce a reasonable volume but it only goes about 2 inches before looping down on to the bonnet.The offside one just dribbles a bit.
OK, I'm resigned to the fact that I've got a very sick engine.
The exhaust is emanating a thick soot that leaves a black patch on the ground.
The exhaust gas smells toxic.
No. 1 spark plug is a little sooted up.
No. 2 spark plug is good.
No. 3 spark plug is badly sooted up.
Exhaust fumes being expelled from the dip stick tube.
I woke up this morning to find a "NED" Har ripped off my drivers side mirror. The plastic mount that attatches it to the car is snapped. does any one know where i can get one, have tried ebay and breakers yard with no luck. I have no daihatsu dealer within onver 150 of me so am kinda stuck
