I had a feeling she was using a little coolant. Noticed some liquid sat on the black chassis beneath the pulleys earlier, a quick blot with some tissue confirmed it was indeed red coolant. ARGHHHH!!! I am sure it's the pump as as far as I know there are no other coolant lines that side of the engine. Daihatsu Dave, expect a sale shortly, I see you have one for sale on Ebay. BUT, I think it will be a pain of a job. Does anyone know if it is possible to change it just from accessing the top of the engine?
After a recent service the feul consumption on my sirion 1.3 has went up i,m getting about 25mpg, only the spark plugs were changed long life ones could this be the problem

Hi does anyone have a Daihatsu Cuore Lower suspension arm offside for 1999 T reg car .They should be all the same 1999 on.Any help would great any other type fit etc or where I can get one.

It sounds like an odd question but should the air-con switch light up on a 2005 Sirion (4trak)? Mine doesn't but it doesn't look like it has clear writing to allow this, it is however the only switch that doesn't light up. Also I assume the ring around the cigarette lighter should light up, only thought about this tonight when I tried to plug a phone charger in. There is power and phone charged but the green ring was not lit up (headlights on).
I have a Charade '95 1.3 EFI automatic transmission.
This morning when I was about to drive my youngest to school, the engine cranked, then stopped and nothing happened. I tried again, but the engine did not start, and I noticed "auto" was blinking on the dashboard. The engine lamp is also lit very dimly and the oil lamp is lit. There is oil.
Can anyone help please with advice /diagram of Fourtrack exhaust system. After last years MOT a flexi pipe was put in at the mid section which is now causing a problem as the back box needs replacing. I bought new back section to find it nearly spans the entire length of truck but I think I will need the flexi pipe taking off and another piece of pipe putting in its place .before I get one I would like to sure of what I have to do .Truck is a W reg 2.8td,thanks.
My wifes YRV has developed a problem over the weekend. The Offside Headlight has become so dim that it's barely visable. So today I've fitted a new headlight bulb and guess what - it too is very dim and barely visible. So I swapped with the nearside bulb (which is working fine) The nearside bulb is dim when plugged into the Offside lamp and the offside bulb burns at full brightness when plugged into the nearside - therefore the bulbs are fine!!
HI CAN ANY HELP ME, I HAVE HAD CONTINUAL PROBLEMS WITH MY BRAKES. IT HAS JUST FAILED THE MOT AGAIN DUE TO THE BRAKES BINDING AND AN IMBALANCE OF BRAKING AT 76%. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM, THANKS
I have got an YRV Turbo.
I have got problems with the drive shafts and because they are very expensive.
I have got them used out of Maleisië.
After two weeks last friday I heard a few knock`s whhile I was driving 130 km/h.
But did`nt check more.
I have lost much oil out of the gearbox.
I thought the drive shafts but there was an hole in the gearbox.
And now it must be replaced.
