I am new to Daihatsu. Recently I bought Daihatsu Sirion made in 2008. I want to change fuel filter but I can not find it. Could somebody help me and explain where is it?
I recently bought a YRV and find the performance rather leisurely at best, I have fitted new sparks plugs but the performance is nowhere near the figures quoted on paper and the fuel consumption is on the high side, there is also a lot of black smoke out of the exhaust under acceleration. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

hi, wondered if anyone can help me, i have only one key for my car and the key has snapped halfway down and is stuck in the lock, I can open the car. if i manage to get the broken bit out is it possible to have a new key made using the 2 parts and if not where can i get a new key from, a dealer and if so does anyone know roughly how much it would cost, i appreciate any help!!!!!
Been getting a rattle from belt area for a while now mainly when engine is warm. The other morning whilst idling from cold a whistling noise appeared from the belt area. It comes and goes and is there regardless of the belts tension.
Hi, I have a sirion 1999, I want to replace the engine mount near the radiator and the one near the gearbox, the problem is that I can't find it, I am asking is it possible to install engine mounts of other car to my car.

Just enquiring to all you fellow Turbo owners. When selecting reverse there is the usual sort of 1 second delay but when it engages it seems to do it in 2 stages, the first one is less noticeable then the second, whereas when selecting D4 it engages in one "clonk" not 2. It engages nice and smoothly by the way. I'm sure it has always done this, just noticed it whilst shunting back and forth earlier.
First post here, hate to be joining with a problem, but just got my first car recently (2002 Daihatsu YRV radical 2), and it has started making odd noises!
My cuore 2001 model Ej exhaust is full of black suit
it does not use oil at all and the exhaust is not oily.
it still runs well.
1)i have disconected the batery to reset the ecu
2)i installed a mixture metre on the o2 sensor
3) it runs lean at idle < 0.1v
but goes rich just above idle revs 0.7v>. and remains there up till full load were it goes 0.6v
