hi everybody! i've owned my '00 yrv turbo for 10 days and the beginning hasn't been a happy one unfortunately. the problem is that the car is stuck in 1st gear only. when engaging reverse or drive the gear goes in hard not gently like usual and also the speedo isn't working. it doesn't go to steer shift and when trying to change gears from the steering the D light flashes once.
hi could someone please tell me if the efi manifold will fit onto the cylinder head of a carb cylinder head at all or is the cylinder head totally different. many thanks morgan
hello all new here i have a grand move on a p plate its got a fault its hard to start hessitant when cold and when warm wont rev up just pops and farts any ideas
My interior light has a dodgy connection and I was rather clumsily trying to fix it and got a big spark
Now my interior light, radio and clock arent working, is this just a fuse, please could you explain (in dopey terms) which fuse I need to change as I have found some but there are lots and I don't want to break anything else

Does anybody know whether there are any differences between the gear boxes for the 1.5 Litre and 1.6 Litre engines?
I have a Grand Move 1.6, and have located a scrapyard with a gearbox for a 1.5
If nobody knows, does anybody know how I might find out, without ordering and comparing directly?
i have spent about 4 hrs reading all the posts on lighting as i have just bought a sportrak 1994 which has bull bars on it but seems to be missing the middle bar, so looks like its had spotlights on at one point,on the inside of the car it has a distinctive place where a switch has been but now there's no switch there just a switch holder and no loose wires.

I need a driver's side tail light for a YRV turbo. It's an 04 plate UK car, yet the local Daihatsu dealer says the part's not available - and wants me to buy a pair of standard (non turbo) ones for it.
