fitting aircon to yrv

just wondering whats involved to fit air con to a yrv if anyone has fitted a aircon kit to a yrv before was it easy and any problems happen. have been offered a full air con kit for silly money and was going to try and fit myself the guy says all i will need to do after fitting the kit he has is gas it up, any help please, thankyou

All I have so far is a chrome badge that says 1.3, Some Pioneer speakers in the parcel shelf and a JVC head unit.

what do i do with my shockers?

hello
i've lifted my '92 sporty by 2" or so by extending my shackel's, but now i need to sort out the shockers i thought about lifting my bottom mounts up by 3" to give more drop, but don't realy want to. Does anybody know if shockers off any other vehicals fit? or can i get longer ones e.g. pro comp? (i am working on tight budjet though).

Yrv turbo front and back splitters

Anybody out there know where to source a back and front diffuser/ splitter ??.Seen a YRV in holland on there owners club !http://groups.msn.com/DaihatsuDriversClubNederland it looks far better kitted up. Tried to contact owner but no reply.Take a look see what you think !!

Hi, I love my Fourtrack (rocky EL-1985), but my wife complains that is too rought.Compared to my Camaro and Tahoe, I agree with her; on the suspension and the steering. I manage to make the suspension smoother by re-condition the leave suspension. I remove one leave from the back bulk and put it on the front. Know I have 4 on the leave per bulk on the back and 3 on the front. So far much better. Will se how it last.

Any Gasoline Rocky's out there?

I have a 1985 Rocky EL, with a Toyota 3y Gasoline engine. Is Carburated with regula point and condenser Distributor.

I heard that you can interchange the parts from a Toyota 4Y Gasoline engine. That engine is in some Toyota Hilux (pick Ups). They have a Electroncic distributor. Ia m thinking a swaping that for my mechanical one.

On the carburated, I have heard that swapping a caburator from a Toyota 4k engine helps on the gas mileage.

I have been looking about online to see what info I can find on my 95 1.6 GSXI Charade, I found this little nugget of info on wikipedia:

"The turbocharged GTti version was replaced by a more conventional GTi with an SOHC 16-valve 1.6 L engine. This version was engineered by De Tomaso (the previous owner of Innocenti), including racing-derived camshafts, and was capable of 124 hp JIS (91 kW) in the Japanese market. The export version was detuned to 105 hp DIN (77 kW). De Tomaso also added their own bodykit, Recaro seats, a Nardi Torino steering wheel, and Pirelli sports tyres. A total of 120,000 Charade GTi were produced following this joint effort."

Replacing the standard steering wheel of a 1995 Charade..Need help finding a boss to fit!

Hi all,
I have bought from ebay a HKB boss kit, do a search on ebay for this number: 8040583680, and you will see what I mean. When it finally arrived I carefully took my original wheel off and then attempted to fit the boss..and it doesn’t fit! the thing seems too small to fit my car, the hole in the middle of the boss, the bit with the teeth seems about 5mm too small Sad it said if was for charades 1987 onwards and the seller told me it would fit.
