I finally got around to fitting an induction kit to my YRV Turbo. I opted for the Blitz SUS which is specific to the YRV Turbo. Not cheap at £176. I have uploaded an image in modifications.

Lately I was surfing over the internet and found a particular product namely, Hyper Voltage Systems. Since I cannot quote any website, the advert states the following;
By simply connecting the Hyper Voltage System to your car's battery, you can aid your electrical system to operate at peak efficiency. Air conditioning, stereo, lightings and many other electrical components in your vehicle are constantly creating a load on your electrical systems. These cause fluctuations in voltage which prevents the vehicle from performing at optimum efficiency. The Hyper Voltage System is designed to stabilize battery voltage for enhanced electrical system efficiency, allowing your vehicle to operate at its full potential.
Hi There .. I live in Australia and own a Sidewinder beach buggy fitted with a Charade GTT I power unit. It drives the rear wheels and as you can imagine with 100+ hp and a very light weight.. It HAMMERS. I'd like to fit a blow of / pop off valve and was wondering if anyone could tell me which one I should use bearing in mind the small capacity of the 3 cyl. twin cam motor .
Thanks
Im from australia, and not surpirsingly there isnt too many places there to look in terms of mods for diahatsu charades. I have owned a 1998 1.5L model for.. 2 years, and after starting my apprenticeship (as a light vehicle mechanic) its become more of an interest to use some of the knowledge to benefit myself.
So far, ive managed to soley custom build an air intake system, which mostly consists of removing the original intake pipe off the air box, cutting a much larger hole in the airbox, on the side that directly faces the air filter, and then sikaflex (silicone) a large 3 1/2 inch pipe that leads to the bottom of my front bumper, which effectively "scoops" air forcibly (assuming im moving) into the intake of the car. Thats fine, with a nice lil KNN filter in there, plenty more torque, probably a little more HP to boot, and it sounds sexy when the engine works a little (a dull gruff rumble from the intake).
Anyone know how a Blitz dump valve fits - is it an easy DIY job?
Plus has anyone got any experience of the Blitz sus air cleaner/induction kit? I've had a custom stainless steel twin pipe exhaust fitted by MIJ Performance of Walsall - sounds sportier now - cost £379.
