I have a Charade EL 2003 and I have just started to run into a few problems with it. It only had one previous owner (a little old lady) and 13000 miles on the clock when i got it 2 years ago! Needless to say it has served me very well ( now 29000 on the clock ) and i absolutely love it!

Last week I was driving "The Beast" and when I put my foot down hard on the throttle the car just died and seem to give a backfire through the exhaust. If I gradually put my foot down on the throttle then I can get to full power but it does not allow me to quickly apply the throttle.
Have had an ongoing problem on the CB engine,of my CHARADE G11R (1986),3 cylinder 993cc carbie(non turbo)type.Idle speed on start up is about 500 rpm and rises to about 1300 when hot.Have replaced brake booster recently and various vacuum hoses.Ended up with a smoother idle! Any ideas please?
Hi all, have owned my Cuore for a good few weeks now and have noticed a couple of problems which may or may not be linked but hopefully someone can help. 1st off, occasionally the revs drop to below 400rpm and can cause the car to cut out and this happens whether the engine is hot or cold.
I have an old but faithful 0.8 Cuore from 1998. It looks like i will have to replace the exhaust in it, I mean the rear part as the front pipe looks fine compared to the rusty back box. Do you know where I could find the part I wouldn't really like to spend too much on it.
Hi, can anyone help me? I have 2 remote fobs which I would like to code to my YRV Premium! I can code one or the other, but not at the same time so both work! Does anyone know if you can only have 1 coded at a time to the YRV? If you can have 2 coded, how do you code the second one? Thanks.
My Daihatsu is making a really high pitched squealing noise (only way to describe it) and it sounds and feels like the whole front end of the car is going to fall off and vibrates right up the steering wheel but this goes away when the break is tapped.
Anyone know if its possible to do this working from underneath, with the engine still in the car?
Its a Daihatsu Skywing/Saphir, mechanically like a Charade, CB22 engine I think (according to the handbook), though I dunno how that differs from the CB23.
Hi, My '98 Fourtrak owned from new with just 31K miles has outer cv boots that show signs of cracking in the fold but not splitting yet. Is it wise to replace these now and if so the inner ones too EBay sites show the same boot suits both inner and outer and on the car it looks like this - is this correct.
I need to change the serpentine belt on a YRV turbo 130, got a belt, stripped air boxes etc off to get at it. I assume you have to release the tensioner pully centre bolt before you can turn the tensioner screw to release the belt. The ABS block is in the way to get any decent purchase on this centre bolt. Advice please.
