I just registered today and I am writing from Finland because we don't have our own club here.
Couple of weeks ago I found that car runs sometimes a little unstable, and after searcing a fault I found that cylinder 3 exhaust valve is leaking.

Today I took off the the cylinder head and the one of the valves was broken and there was a pit in the sealing area in it.
Because we don't have our own import dealer in Finland I have to order a new one from Sweden. I took the cylinder head to day to machinery to clean the cylinder plane and to grind the valves and valveseats.

LOOKING FOR SOME HELP PLEASE FOLKS,JUMPED INTO THE OLD 1990 SPORTY "CARB"JOB TODAY AND GOT ABOUT THREE MILES BEFORE SHE STARTED SLOWING AND CUTTING OUT,NOT UNLIKE CAB ICING OR RUNNING SHORT ON FUEL. RUN TO A STOP AND SHE STARTED AGAIN OK AND REVVED FREELY BUT AS SOON AS I STARTED TO MOVE OFF THERE SHE WENT AGAIN CUTTING OUT.SHE WILL GO HALF A MILE OR 20 YARDS WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS AND I CANNOT DECIDE IF ITS ELECTRICAL OR FUEL.

How could I help to eliminate engine hesitation during abrupt acceleration?

Last December I was driving to work with fuel running low in my tank when at one point in time I managed to drive over a "POT HOLE" and the engine started to jerk and perform badly. Until then, as I continued driving to the nearest station I refuelled the engine seemed to be recovering engine power was being restored. I visited mechanics a number of times to clean the carburettor and tank but it seems that on abrupt acceleration or when the engine is still cold, unfortunately the engine hesitates to perform well. Some other thing that I noticed was that as soon as the rev counter reaches the three thousand mark the engine suddenly gives a significant power increase. Please note that the vehicle has no fitted turbo's because this could deviate from the answers I need.

Hi Guys, i've been having problems with my Sirion (2000 1ltr fuel injected). When the engine is running and i dont press the trottle the engine speed rises and drops or levels out at 2000rpm but continues to rise and drop. It doesnt matter weather its hot or cold. I've tried injector cleaner and it has had no result. Please help its driving me crazy and im worried about my little car. I drive to work on dangerous country roads and im worried it'll break down some night when im alone.

My girlfriend is in the Caribbean Islands away at school and owns a 2002 or 2003 Daihatsu Cuore (I believe? It's a 2002-2003 Daihatsu and from the images I've seen online looks like a Cuore. Her heating knob (the knob that controls the heat, defroster, air conditioner) and knob that controls the low, medium, high of it no longer work. Basically it does not catch on the grip so when you turn it, nothing happens. A wrench is required to adjust it.
